Vape Desires UK is an independent online vape retailer. We don't have a shopfront full of reviews or a big social following yet, so instead of asking you to trust a star rating, we'd rather show you who's actually writing the product pages and blog posts, and how we check what we publish.

Callum handles product research and buying guidance at Vape Desires UK. Before anything goes live on the site, he works through the manufacturer's spec sheet, checks TPD documentation and MHRA notification status where it's available, and keeps track of UK vaping law as it changes, including the 2025 single-use disposable vape ban and what it means for the prefilled pod kits that replaced disposables.
His approach is simple: a product page should tell you exactly what a device does, what it's good at, and what it isn't, without marketing padding getting in the way. Where a spec or a compliance detail can't be confirmed, we say so rather than guessing.
Callum is not a doctor, pharmacist or medical professional, and nothing he writes is medical or cessation advice. His job is accurate product information and honest buying guidance for adult smokers and vapers aged 18 and over.
How we check what we publish
- Manufacturer specifications, battery capacity, coil type, pod capacity and puff counts are taken from the manufacturer or supplier, not guessed.
- TPD compliance, UK e-liquid and tank rules (2ml tank/pod cap, 10ml bottle cap for nicotine-containing liquid, 20mg/ml nicotine cap) are checked against current UK regulation.
- MHRA notification, where we can confirm a product's MHRA notification status, we say so. Where we can't, we say that too, rather than assuming.
- Current UK vaping law, including the single-use vape ban that came into force on 1 June 2025 in England, with equivalent rules across Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Rules and guidance can be updated, so we check before publishing rather than relying on what was true last year.
